Comprehensive Gum Care

Gum disease is the number one reason for tooth loss.  As a result, each new patient, as well as all existing patients, receives a comprehensive gum exam to check for signs of potential tooth loss or degree of existing gum disease, if any. 

Probably the most important fact for people to understand about gum disease is that it is seldom, if ever, painful.  Thus, doing a comprehensive gum exam, we feel, is important for every one of our patients of our patients to have.  Our patients appreciate this.  Our hygienist makes sure that each patient is educated as to how gum disease comes about and how to prevent it.  Gum care is rendered on patients whose range of gum disease ranges from none to severe, with excellent results on most.
